The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has launched the ₦250,000 FG loan to support Nigerian youths and small businesses.
As part of the initiative, the government is set to disburse ₦250,000 to eligible candidates.
The grant is aimed at supporting unemployed youths in becoming employers of labor.
The NDE’s Bauchi coordinator, Lawan Yaya, made the announcement while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
The loan is available to candidates who have received training from an Entrepreneur Development Institute (EDI).
Interested applicants will submit loan applications through an EDI, which will be forwarded to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for review.

- Having a full name, phone number, and residential address
- Having a bank verification number (BVN) and a bank account details
- Having a business name (if you own a registered business)
- Having a next of kin’s full name and phone number
- Having received training from an Entrepreneur Development Institute (EDI)
- Submitting your loan application through an EDI
